Problem
Separate the well-known multilingual directory on the Damask & Dentelle site and redesign it into a more gender neutral, easy-to-use, francophone web tool.

Solution
This projected had to start with extensive content planning. I mapped out the entire Damask & Dentelle directory and consulted with them to decide which aspects of the site worked and what need to be revamped. At the end of version one, the client and I, while we did love the design, felt it was just a bit too colourful to be enduring for the long term. We opted to change the colour scheme to something more classic. Fortunately, this was easy to implement thanks to our extensive content strategy in the beginning of the design process. The final result was a black and bronze colour palette, a gorgeous, easy-to-use directory, an upgraded search function, and overall, a much better user experience.
