Whale of a Tale Content Logo

Kyla Rose Sims is a freelance content writer based in Montreal, Canada. She writes content and copy for blogs, social media, and websites. After launching her freelance career a few months prior, it was time to launch her company and new brand.

Problem:
Kyla needed a logo for her company. Something fun, unique, and representatives of her personality. Her favourite animals are whales, particularly Beluga whales which is why she named her company Whale of a tale Content. With that in mind, we set out to create a logo.

Solution
We knew it had to have a whale and we wanted it to be cute. But also bold. I drew inspiration from book stamps and letterpress printing. We wanted the logo to have a feeling like it could be stamped or embossed in the back of a paper book and still have a fun and fresh web vibe.
